Dream On Episode Guide

1. EP 1: A Smashing Exit

Lexington Hall wins Best Youth Actor on his eighteenth birthday. During his speech, he curses at Hollywood and smashes his trophy on stage. Security guards drag him off while his mother panics. Meanwhile, Stevie St. James watches the broadcast from her family produce stand and scoffs at his arrogance. She rushes to school for a play audition in her red pickup truck. When she arrives, screaming fans swarm Lex's blue sports car. Stevie accidentally backs into his vehicle. Lex flees the crowd by jumping into her truck. He knocks into her and spills her drink all over her chest.

2. EP 2: Close Quarters

Inside the truck, chaos continues. Lex tears his clothes, and Stevie gets her hair stuck directly on his crotch while trying to steer away from the crowd. After she parks, both of them step outside to argue. Stevie chews him out for ruining her shirt and denting her truck. Lex tries to hand her a signed photograph to smooth things over, but she rejects the offer. He then steps close, touches her face, and mocks her theater background before she can make it to her audition.

3. EP 3: Audition Call

Outside the truck, Lex inspects Stevie's script for Pride and Prejudice and mocks her choice. Stevie defends herself. She explains that acting is her dream and that she promised someone she would never quit. She hurries to the auditorium just as the director prepares to wrap up auditions. Natalie Marks expects to take the lead role without competition. Stevie runs onto the stage at the last second to claim her chance. Lex quietly follows her inside and stands in the back of the theater to watch her perform.

4. EP 4: Stage Disaster

Stevie performs her monologue on stage alone because her scene partner Jameson never showed up. Disasters mount when a candelabra tips over. Stevie trips over the prop, and her shirt buttons pop open before the crowd. The audience laughs and boos at her embarrassment. Lex rushes from the seats, catches her before she hits the ground, and kisses her in front of the crowd. Stevie stands stunned on stage and whispers that he just took her very first kiss.

5. EP 5: Darcy on Stage

Lex joins Stevie on stage during the audition to act opposite her. He shocks everyone in the theater by memorizing Darcy's lines in seconds. He recites the speech about Elizabeth Bennet humbling him and delivers a passionate performance. Stevie asks what he is doing, but he stays fully committed to the role. The audition ends with Lex pulling Stevie close and kissing her again. Their schoolmates watch in disbelief as the famous movie star shares the spotlight with her.

6. EP 6: Striking a Deal

Mr. Hamlin praises the performance and offers Stevie and Lex the lead parts on the condition that both sign up. Another actress complains bitterly about the decision. Lex refuses the role, stating he left Hollywood to escape theater drama. Stevie chases him down and explains that acting on stage honors a promise to her late grandmother. She begs him to reconsider. Lex pauses to think about her plea. He pulls her close, pinches her cheek, and demands to know what he gets in exchange for doing the play.

7. EP 7: Farm Girl Rules

Stevie offers Lex a spare room at her family farm so he can hide from obsessive fans outside his hotel. Lex agrees, and the two shake hands on the deal. They drive back to the property in her red pickup truck. Lex teases her about the rundown farm, and Stevie slips up by calling him the hottest star in the world. He pins her against the side of the truck to tease her. He lifts her chin and warns her to stop blushing whenever a man stands close.

8. EP 8: Morning Routine

Stevie introduces Lex to her parents as her new acting partner. Her mother gives him a warm hug, and her father welcomes him for dinner. The next morning, Stevie sits in the yard milking a cow while scolding herself for being attracted to Lex. He suddenly walks outside wearing nothing but a towel around his waist. Stevie turns around in shock and bumps her face against his stomach. In her panic, she squeezes the cow's teat. Milk sprays straight across Lex's bare chest.

9. EP 9: Pinned Down

Lex asks Stevie to repair the broken plumbing because the farm shower stopped working. Stevie grabs a wrench and climbs halfway through a low barn window to reach the shutoff valve. She trades insults with Lex about real-life skills while leaning across the sill. The window suddenly drops shut on her waist. Stevie finds herself stuck in the opening with her backside facing Lex outside. Lex stands on the dirt, smirks at her awkward position, and teases her about her bad luck.

10. EP 10: Not a Wrench

Stevie begs Lex to pull her out of the window. Her mother enters the barn holding a carton of eggs, forcing Stevie to pretend she is simply checking the pipes while Lex tugs from outside. Lex pulls her free, and both tumble into the dirt. A damaged pipe immediately begins spraying water across the yard. Stevie scrambles in the mud to find her lost wrench and shut down the leak. In the confusion, she grabs Lex's crotch by mistake, and he points out her error.

11. EP 11: Dropping the Towel

Stevie steps back in embarrassment after the accidental grab. Lex teases her about her farm skills, pulls her close, and leans in for a kiss. A woman calls his name from across the yard before their lips meet. Lex drags Stevie inside the barn to hide just as his mother arrives. His mother demands to enter and insults the farm. Lex blocks the doorway and drops his towel in front of her. He announces that he is naked. This stops his mother from barging past the door.

12. EP 12: Torn Contracts

Lex argues with his mother at the barn door and declares he is done with acting. She warns him about his contracts and threatens to ruin both his career and Stevie's life before she storms away. Lex wraps his towel back on and sits on the floor. Stevie sits beside him, tears up his Hollywood contracts to cheer him up, and asks what he truly wants. Lex touches her cheek and pulls her close. He leans in to kiss her.
