Episode: 4
Stevie St. James tries to deliver an audition monologue on stage without her partner. As she speaks Elizabeth Bennet's lines, an onstage candelabra topples. Stevie stumbles over the prop. Her shirt buttons burst open, exposing her to the crowd. People in the auditorium openly jeer and boo. Stevie falls off the stage. Lexington Hall darts forward from the audience, catches her in his arms, and kisses her lips while she questions him.
Stevie St. James struggles through a monologue from Pride and Prejudice on stage. An accident occurs mid-performance, causing her to fall. Lexington Hall sprints out from the crowd, catches her in his arms, and kisses her directly in front of the audience.
Stevie notices her acting partner failed to appear, yet she speaks her lines anyway. A candelabra prop suddenly tips over. Stevie trips across the floor, popping her shirt buttons completely open. The audience immediately begins mocking and booing her.
Stevie falls straight off the stage edge. Lexington Hall intercepts her drop, holding her close. He kneels down on the floor to kiss her. Stevie stares at him with confusion and tells him this marks her very first kiss.
“Mr. Darcy, from the moment that I met you, your manners told me that you are arrogant, selfish, and conceited. So my answer is no. You're the last man in the world who- Wait, where's my partner, Jameson?”
“No, you owe me one, right?”
“Wait, this is my first kiss!”
Lexington Hall catches Stevie as she tumbles off the stage. He kneels down and kisses her before the jeering crowd. Stevie looks at him in utter confusion and reveals that this is her first kiss. Will this sudden public kiss rescue Stevie's audition, or will it create even more chaos for them both?
