2. EP 2: Signed in Ignorance

   Jiang Yanli returns to their apartment carrying a luxury gift from Paris. He explains away the morning hospital visit, claiming Song Ci was simply a friend who needed a ride. Moments later, he announces an urgent airline meeting and prepares to dash out. Wen Yu stops him and asks him to sign documents for a riverside apartment. Jiang Yanli signs the papers without reading a single word, kisses her forehead, and rushes out the door. Left alone in silence, Wen Yu looks at the signed divorce agreement. She gently touches her stomach and apologizes to her unborn child.

3. EP 3: The Midnight Crib

   Wen Yu sits on the sofa with the signed divorce papers in hand. A social media request pops up from Song Ci, showing Jiang Yanli assembling a baby crib late at night. Wen Yu glances at their wedding portrait and realizes their anniversary passed without a word from him. Later that night, Jiang Yanli enters the bedroom and embraces her from behind. Jiang Yanli cancels their date, claiming the airline called him in for emergency overtime. Wen Yu heads to a grocery store alone. Near the produce section, she hears a familiar voice. She turns the corner and spots Jiang Yanli gently warning a pregnant woman not to eat lychees.

5. EP 5: A Stranger in the Supermarket

   Song Qing spots Wen Yu in the produce aisle and puts on an innocent act. When Jiang Yanli walks over, Song Qing pretends she was mistreated. Jiang Yanli lashes out at his wife without asking for facts. Wen Yu exposes his overtime lie right to his face. When Song Qing asks if they know each other, Wen Yu coldly states that they are complete strangers. Song Qing suddenly complains of stomach pain. Jiang Yanli rushes her to the emergency room. Wen Yu stands alone next to their abandoned grocery cart and watches them go.

6. EP 6: Refusing the Medicine

   Wen Yu eats dinner alone in the empty apartment and feels feverish. She lies down in bed as chills set in. Jiang Yanli returns home, checks her forehead, and finds she is running a temperature. He brings water and pills, urging her to swallow them. Wen Yu refuses because she wants to protect her pregnancy. She waits for him to ask why she will not take the pills. Instead, Jiang Yanli delivers a lecture about avoiding medical treatment. Heartbroken by his lack of care, Wen Yu tells him that she does not need lessons on being a doctor.

7. EP 7: Questions for Another Woman

   Jiang Yanli sits on the bed and asks if Wen Yu is angry about the canceled dinner. His phone vibrates, and he steps away to check it. He returns and asks what remedies help a pregnant woman with fever and morning sickness. Wen Yu briefly wonders if he discovered her condition. Instead, he openly admits that Song Ci is sick and needs advice. Wen Yu wakes up the following morning to an empty bed. Her phone reveals a social media post where Song Ci thanks Jiang Yanli for rushing over to care for her through the night.

8. EP 8: One-Way Ticket to Paris

   Wen Yu lies in bed thinking about the honeymoon trip to Paris that work once canceled. Realizing she can visit any city on her own once the divorce is final, she books a solo flight. Jiang Yanli enters the room and checks her fever. Finding her skin cool, he wraps his arms around her and vows to stay by her side until their hair turns white. Wen Yu rests in his embrace without uttering an objection. In her heart, she knows she will leave him behind within days.
