Episode: 6
Inside the greenhouse, a maid collects baby Jax. Elias notices Seraphina's open shirt button and gently fastens it, prompting her to escape in embarrassment. Along the garden path, Henry hands Elias an investigation report verifying Seraphina as his beach rescuer. Later, Seraphina tends to the rose bushes. When a sharp thorn scratches her earlobe, Elias steps forward and licks the droplet of blood, leaving her flustered.
A maid carries baby Jax out of the greenhouse. Elias spots an unfastened button on Seraphina's shirt. He reaches out and gently buttons the fabric closed for her. Flustered by his close touch, Seraphina immediately turns and flees the room.
Henry meets Elias along the stone garden path and hands him an official investigation folder. The documents confirm that Seraphina Sinclair rescued Elias on the beach. Elias reviews the findings and learns his savior is now employed as Jax's wet nurse.
Seraphina happily waters the blooming rose bushes while Elias watches from a distance. A rose thorn catches and cuts her earlobe. Elias walks up to her, leans close, and licks the drop of blood away, leaving Seraphina thoroughly shaken.
“Your button... came undone.”
“Confirmed. Seraphina Sinclair. She's the woman who saved you at the beach. She's currently working at the estate as Jax's wet nurse.”
“It was her after all.”
“The bleeding has stopped.”
Elias cleans the blood from Seraphina's earlobe with his tongue. Shocked by his bold action, Seraphina stammers and rushes away across the grounds. Elias remains behind, watching her flee with a satisfied smile. How will Seraphina manage to avoid Elias now that he knows her true identity as his rescuer?
