Episode 1 recap: A Fateful Rescue

Marina arrives at the Atlantis City Plaza with high hopes of making it on her own. Her plans change in seconds when an elderly merman collapses on the ground. Marina rushes to assist him while city guards detain a runaway noble nearby. Grateful for her help, the old man learns that Marina is single. He decides she would be a wonderful partner for his grandson. Orion rushes over with his guard Finn. Before either young mer can object, the grandfather declares that they should get married, and Orion catches Marina when she stumbles.
