Episode 2 recap: The Emergency Deal

The elderly merman insists that his grandson should marry Marina. She politely turns down the offer because she did not save him for a reward. An urgent call on her shell bracelet shatters her plans. Her mother explains that her father needs immediate surgery and the hospital requires payment right away. Desperate for money, Marina returns and agrees to marry the young noble if he lends her a hundred grand. The grandfather agrees on the spot, brushing off Orion's protests and pulling them both away to get the union finalized.
