Episode 1 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Waiting at the Airport

    Victoria waits alone by her bags at the airport terminal for a scheduled Christmas vacation with her family. Instead of David arriving with Mia, her phone rings with an incoming call from her husband.

  2. 00:09: David Calls to Cancel

    David sits in his car and calls Victoria. He claims top attorney Christian is visiting his firm for a partnership meeting. David says he is taking Mia with him and tells Victoria to go on the trip alone.

  3. 00:23: Christian Picks Up Victoria

    Victoria calls her close friend Christian to pick her up outside the airport. She steps into Christian's car, asks for a divorce agreement, and tells him that David is having an affair behind her back.

  4. 00:52: The Locked Law Firm

    Victoria and Christian arrive at R&C Law Firm and discover the doors locked and empty. A convenience store clerk approaches and tells them David rented an entire estate so his whole office could celebrate his wedding anniversary.

  5. 01:16: A Shocking Anniversary Lie

    Victoria states that today is not their real wedding anniversary. Shaken by grief and anger over David's deceit, she and Christian immediately get back into the car and drive toward the estate to catch him.
