David directs the estate security to violently strike his wife and Christian. As the guards kick them across the marble, Victoria reflects on ten years of loving David and Mia. Christian yells out that she is the famed attorney and names Victoria as Pete Group's true heiress. David, Vivian, and the attendees openly mock them. A guard hits Christian, but Victoria dials emergency services.
David orders the banquet security guards to strike Victoria and Christian immediately. He directs the guards to inflict severe harm on both women. David announces to the room that he will accept all legal consequences for the assault.
Guards assault both women right in the center of the hall. Victoria's blood spills onto the floor as she suffers multiple injuries. During the beating, thoughts of how she cared for David and raised Mia run through her mind.
Pinned against the ground, an injured Christian calls out her true profession to the room. She loudly identifies herself as the famous attorney Christian. Then, she reveals to everyone present that Victoria is the actual heiress of Pete Group.
Laughter erupts across the banquet room in response to Christian's words. Vivian ridicules the battered woman for claiming to be her legal mentor. David joins the guests in mocking them, asking why an elite attorney would ever spend time with Victoria.
Christian attempts to pull out her identification card to verify her words. Instead of letting her show the card, a security guard delivers a brutal punch to her face. The guard then continues to beat her on the floor.
Victoria's vision darkens as she lies injured on the marble. Stretching her hand across the floor, she manages to grab her mobile phone. She dials 911 for emergency help right before her consciousness completely fades away.
“Stop wasting time on them. Beat the hell out of them. I'll take responsibility for whatever happens.”
“I am Christian! And Victoria is the real heiress of the Pete Group!”
“My mentor is a big shot in the legal world, as if she'd ever be beaten to a pulp and look like such a pathetic mess like you.”
“Why would a lawyer like Christian ever associate with a lunatic like Victoria?”
“911, what's your emergency?”
Victoria uses her remaining strength to dial 911, and the emergency dispatcher answers just as she loses consciousness on the floor. Will the police arrive at the banquet hall in time to rescue Victoria and Christian from David, or will the guards stop the emergency call before officers are sent?
