Episode: 4
Dean Vance confronts Victoria Ashford about the watch on her wrist. She puts on an act, claiming Elias Thorne touched her inappropriately. After the bullies leave, Dean tells Anna Kowalski she needs to defend herself. Anna breaks down and screams that Elias fought back before the bullies killed him. Dean demands the truth, but Anna spots Victoria watching them, retracts her statement, and runs away.
Dean Vance seizes Victoria Ashford by the arm and demands an explanation about the watch. Victoria weeps loudly and claims Elias Thorne gave it to her before crossing physical boundaries. Her fellow bullies mock Dean, support her story, and leave.
Dean approaches the injured Anna Kowalski and insists that she will remain an easy target without fighting back. Anna cries and yells at him for intervening. She shouts that Elias fought back against his attackers, but they killed him anyway.
Dean grabs Anna by the shoulders, pressing her to explain what she knows. When Anna spots Victoria watching from nearby, she panics immediately. Anna quickly retracts her claim, denies knowing anything, and sprints away into the tunnel as Victoria smirks.
“Where did you get it? This watch...”
“This was a gift from Mr. Thorne. He said I was his favorite student... But then he put his hands on me...”
“You think Mr. Thorne didn't fight back?! They killed him anyway!”
“Don't ask me! I don't know anything, okay?!”
Anna Kowalski flees in terror after spotting Victoria Ashford watching them from nearby, while Victoria flashes a cruel smirk. Dean Vance is left standing alone on the field with proof that Elias was murdered. Will Dean be able to protect Anna and convince her to tell him what really happened to Elias?
