She crawls to his feet and begs for help. Julian refuses her pleas until she screams that the boy is his son.
Eliza wears a white swan ballerina costume inside a dance studio during a flashback. Julian steps close to her in the quiet room. He seduces her before their lives take a dark turn in the years that follow.
Eliza's car flips over on a city street at night. Young Leo suffers critical injuries in the wreckage. At the crash site, a paramedic informs Eliza that only the biological father's rare blood can save Leo right now.
Covered in blood and bruises, Eliza bursts into the Vance family gala hall to search for Julian. The high-society guests watch in shock. Auntie notices the intrusion and immediately commands the security guards to throw Eliza out of the hall.
Julian walks into the gala hall and orders the security team to release Eliza. Eliza drops to the floor and crawls toward him. She pleads with Julian directly, begging him to step forward and save her dying child.
A flashback returns to a hospital room years earlier. Julian lies bedridden with severe injuries. Eliza stands over his bed, coldly turns her back on him, and states she will not waste her life on a broken man.
Julian refuses Eliza's desperate plea and turns his back to walk away from her. Eliza cries out across the crowded room that the dying child is his own son. Julian freezes on the spot and halts his steps.
“This kid's got a super rare blood type. We need his dad's blood right now.”

Julian turns his back on Eliza, but her sudden shout that Leo is his biological son halts him mid-stride. He stands frozen in shock while the entire gala room falls silent.
