Ava awakens in a dragon nursery as a human trial worker after a fall in a hospital. The head maid orders the staff to force-feed crying baby prince Knox, who shoots flames. A system activates and translates Knox's telepathic cries about a piercing object. Ava slips past guards to remove a golden pin from his bleeding back. King Kael enters, drawing his sword against her neck.
Ava wakes up wearing maid clothes and a wristband labeled Human Trial Worker. A horned dragon head maid stands over her and scolds the presence of a scaleless, magicless human in the palace baby care hall.
In a flashback at a children's hospital, Ava looks at her phone and celebrates passing her RN exam. She suddenly slips on a puddle of water on the floor, falls hard, and loses consciousness.
Back in the baby care hall, Ava realizes she is in another realm. The head maid commands dragon maids to hold down baby prince Knox and force-feed him. Knox screams and breathes flames in resistance.
Ava hears Knox's telepathic plea that a gold pin is piercing his back. A magical interface pops up and activates the Dragon Common Tongue, giving Ava the power to comprehend any dragon under age three.
Ava slips past armed guards to reach the distressed baby prince. She examines his back and pulls out a sharp golden brooch that was impaling his skin and making him bleed.
Dragon King Kael walks in and draws a sword straight against Ava's neck for touching his brother. Ava stands her ground and tells him to let her stop Knox's bleeding before taking her head.
“There's a pin in my back! Even gold ones hurt! Somebody save me!”
“System activated. Dragon common tongue loaded. You can now understand dragons under three.”
“Who said this human could touch my brother?”
“He's still bleeding. You want my head? Fine. But let me stop the bleeding first.”
Dragon King Kael presses his sword against Ava's throat, threatening her for touching the royal baby. Ava ignores the danger and demands permission to treat Knox's bleeding wound before any punishment occurs. Will King Kael execute the human trial worker on the spot, or will he let Ava save his little brother's life?
