    Knox runs across his bedroom and shoots sparks while musicians play instruments. Ava sends the musicians away to reduce the noise. Lady Maris suggests drugging the baby dragon with sleep powder, but Ava argues that a ten-month-old child does not need medicine.

  2. 00:51: Ava Convinces the Dragon King

    Ava wraps Knox snugly in a blanket. King Kael plans to leave the bedroom to read military paperwork. Ava stops him and insists he sit at Knox's bedside. She tells the King to spend thirty minutes reading his brother a bedtime story.

  3. 01:42: A Military Report Bedtime Story

    King Kael sits down beside his little brother's crib. He opens his dry military border report and reads the pages aloud. Knox listens quietly, grabs hold of Kael's finger, and finally drifts off into a calm, restful sleep.

    Outside in the hallway, the Queen Mother talks to Lady Maris. She reveals that Ava will take charge of Knox's hundred-day celebration tomorrow. The Queen Mother warns the senior nanny to prove her thirty years of service against Ava's single day.

    Ava returns to Kael and hands him a handwritten care log for Knox. Previous nannies wrote pages of empty compliments, but Ava documents the baby's actual fears and daily needs. Kael reads the notebook and is thoroughly impressed by her honesty.
