Kyle lies bleeding on the arena floor while Theron yells for his death. The Trial Officer announces the first trial, and a giant beast bursts into the colosseum. Kyle slides under the creature, breaks off its giant tusk with his bare hands, and kills it. Spectators cheer as Kyle stands over the corpse. In the royal box, King Draven stays silent while Selene and Theron whisper. Near the gate, someone checks a sabotaged chain.

Episode 1 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: Blood on the Arena Sand

    Kyle lies wounded in the sand while covered in blood. Up in the stands, Theron leans forward and gleefully screams for his brother to die. Kyle looks up from the ground and grins back at him.

  2. 00:13: Arrival of the Colosseum Beast

    The Trial Officer calls out the rules for the trial to the crowd. An enormous monster crashes through the gates and charges out onto the sand. Kyle gets to his feet to face the beast alone.

  3. 00:26: Slaying the Arena Beast

    The beast rushes forward at full speed. Kyle drops low and slides directly under its body. He grips the monster's giant tusk with his bare hands, snaps the thick bone, and slays it before standing over the fallen body.

  4. 00:51: Whispers in the Royal Box

    The crowd erupts into loud cheers for Kyle. King Draven looks down at the pit without uttering a single word. Nearby, Queen Selene leans in close to Theron, and the two exchange quiet remarks about the trial victory.

  5. 00:58: The Sabotaged Cage Chain

    Away from the roaring spectators, a person wearing gloves approaches the beast cage by the arena gate. The person reaches out and inspects an iron chain link that has been deliberately cut through before the fight.
