Dr. Lee checks on Lily and tells Evelyn that the drug worked to stabilize her condition. He asks how Evelyn acquired the medicine from Victor Volkov. When Dr. Lee leaves, Lily confronts Evelyn and begs her not to sacrifice herself. Victor calls Evelyn right after and demands she meet him at eight o'clock. Later that night, Evelyn goes to the mansion, where an unknown young man speaks to her from the staircase landing.
Dr. Lee tells Evelyn that Lily is stable thanks to the medication, then questions how she got it from Victor. After he steps out, Lily pleads with Evelyn not to risk herself. Victor calls Evelyn and orders her not to be late.
Evelyn arrives at the mansion at night and pauses in the grand foyer. As she stands near the staircase, a young man wearing a brown waistcoat looks down from the landing and calls out to her.
“Good news, the drug works. Lily is stable for now.”
“Evelyn, you are my sister and my only family. Promise me, okay?”
“Don't forget our appointment tonight, eight o'clock. Don't be late.”
“Are you lost, baby girl?”
