Evelyn objects and refuses to participate. Her phone rings, and Dr. Lee warns her that Lily's health has collapsed. Needing more medicine immediately, Evelyn surrenders to Victor's demand and picks out an outfit.
Victor sits with Evelyn Harrington for dinner in the dining room. He presents her with a pearl necklace and clips the clasp behind her neck. Victor tells Evelyn that the pearls must stay on her always.
Evelyn angrily asks Victor what he wants from her. Victor reveals a clothing rack holding pieces of lingerie and tells her to select her favorite. Evelyn directly rejects the instruction, telling him that she will find a different method to repay him.
Dr. Lee calls Evelyn on her phone to state that Lily has taken a turn for the worse. Lily requires the medication immediately. Unable to let her sister die, Evelyn relents, walks to the rack, and selects an outfit.
“And this stays always.”
“Is this some kind of sick joke?”
“Lily's taken a turn for the worse. She needs that medication now, and can't miss any future doses.”
“I choose this one.”
Evelyn holds up a hanger from the rack and tells Victor that she has made her choice. She yields to his arrangement in order to secure the urgent medication for Lily. Will Victor accept the outfit she picked, and will he hand over the dose in time to save her sister?
