Episode: 3
Ethan guides Vivian over to the dining table. Vivian quickly sends a text to Claire Quinn to pause her orders, and Claire complies. At the table, Ethan speaks emotionally about searching for his sister for years, asking her to remain by his side. Tiffany suddenly rushes up in anger. She scolds Ethan for seating a filthy woman at the head table. Vivian then announces that she lost her construction job and lacks a home.
Ethan leads Vivian toward a seat at the dining table. While walking, Vivian sends a quick text message to her assistant, Claire Quinn. She tells Claire to hold off on her previous instructions, and the assistant promptly complies with the order.
At the table, Ethan talks about his years spent looking for Vivian. He reminds her how she shared the better food and warmer clothes with him during their childhood. Ethan speaks with deep emotion and asks her to stay with him.
Tiffany walks over to the dining table in an absolute rage. She sharply rebukes Ethan for seating a dirty, homeless-looking woman at their head table. She demands that he remove Vivian from the gathering right away so she is not embarrassed.
Vivian silently watches Tiffany’s hostile behavior. She decides to continue testing her brother and his wife. Speaking out loud, Vivian claims she just lost her day labor job at a construction site and currently has nowhere to stay.
“When we were kids, you always looked after me. You gave me the better food, the warmer clothes... You're my sister.”
“She's your sister, not mine! Ethan, we've been married five days. Five days! And you're bringing some homeless woman up to our head table?”
“Tell her to leave. Now. I'm not letting her embarrass me in front of everyone.”
“I just lost my construction gig, and I don't even have a roof over my head.”
Vivian claims she is homeless and out of work, deliberately testing her brother and his wife. Tiffany stares in disgust while Ethan absorbs the news about his sister's hardship. Will Ethan stand up to his angry new bride to give Vivian a place to sleep, or will Tiffany succeed in pushing his long-lost sister right back out the door?
