In the penthouse bedroom, Darlene and Mr. Weld urge Tiffany to stop letting Ethan and Vivian take advantage of them. They claim Victor Crane is hurrying over out of infatuation for her. Ethan then carries Vivian and her luggage inside. Tiffany and her parents confront the pair and demand they exit. Tiffany berates Ethan for his meager earnings and confesses she only wed him for control. She demands a divorce.
Darlene and Mr. Weld talk to Tiffany inside the bedroom. They insist Victor Crane is rushing over because he is infatuated with her. They urge her to stop Ethan and Vivian from taking advantage of the family.
Ethan enters the living room carrying Vivian and her bags. Tiffany, Darlene, and Mr. Weld immediately step up to block their path. The family confronts the siblings and orders both Ethan and Vivian to leave the penthouse right away.
Tiffany lashes out at Ethan over his small paycheck. She states she married him because he lacked family and was easy to control. When Ethan refuses to abandon his sister, Tiffany announces she wants an immediate divorce.
“Neither of you belongs here. Get out. Both of you.”
“You think I married you because you were some great catch? Your parents were gone, you had no money, and you were easy to control.”
“If you're choosing your sister over your wife, fine. We're done. I want a divorce.”
Tiffany firmly tells Ethan that their marriage is over and demands a divorce. Ethan stands stunned and crushed by her harsh words, while Vivian watches the scene unfold in complete silence. Will Ethan try to salvage his marriage with Tiffany, or will Vivian step in to protect her brother from his greedy wife?
