Clara goes along with the confusion and pulls Gabriel into her bedroom. After explaining Kevin's betrayal, Clara begs Gabriel to pose as her partner for money. Gabriel mentions his frozen cards, so Clara touches his abs and offers to support him completely.

    Marina Santos calls Clara on the phone and rings the doorbell at the same time. She announces that she came to celebrate Clara's birthday. Gabriel steps into the room dressed in pajamas before Clara can hide him.

  3. 00:37: Marina Meets the Wrong Fiancé

    Marina walks inside carrying a cake and assumes the handsome stranger is Kevin Duarte. Clara quickly links arms with Gabriel and confirms the lie. Gabriel greets her mother respectfully, and Clara immediately drags him into the adjacent bedroom.

  4. 01:00: Clara Makes an Offer

    Clara reveals Kevin's affair and asks Gabriel to impersonate him for pay. Gabriel notes his cards are frozen and he has nowhere to go. Clara touches his midsection, praises his physique, and suggests her teacher salary can support them both.
