Nathan examines a shareholder authorization in his office before stepping out for a call. Opal climbs onto the desk to examine the file. Claire stalls Nathan in the corridor with questions about a meeting. This allows Opal to reach the door with the paper. Claire snaps photos of the sheet and calls a lawyer. The lawyer spots invalid dates. Just as they agree to visit Robert, a bright light envelops them.
Nathan looks over a Shareholder Authorization document in his study. His phone rings, and he walks out to answer it. Opal jumps onto the desk right away and inspects the paperwork while the room is completely empty.
In the hallway outside the study, Claire intercepts Nathan and asks him questions about an upcoming financing meeting. Nathan answers quickly, dashes back into his study to grab his forgotten phone, and then walks away down the hall.
Claire steps into the doorway of the study and spots Opal waiting by the entrance with the stolen document. Claire scoops Opal up in a hug, relieved the cat is unharmed, and takes photos of the shareholder authorization page.
Inside Claire's room, Claire and Opal start a video call with a lawyer to review the files. The lawyer explains that the dates do not align with Evelyn's travel. Claire decides they will visit Evelyn's father, Robert, the next day.
“I can find another page. I can't find another you.”
“The dates don't match. Evelyn was abroad when this one was supposedly signed.”
“Then tomorrow we go see Dad.”
“Partners? Partners.”
Claire and Opal cement their partnership and plan to take the forged document to Evelyn's father, Robert, the following morning. Suddenly, a mysterious bright light blazes across the room and completely envelops them both. Will this supernatural flash transform Evelyn back into a human, or will it alert Nathan to their secret alliance?
