Inside Evergreen Apothecary, Shopkeeper Finch inspects Leo Vance's purple ginseng. Finch knows the root is worth millions, but he claims it is a dyed radish. He offers five thousand yuan to scam Leo. Leo packs up his ginseng and heads for the door. Finch blocks him, accuses him of selling fake poison, and orders guards to attack. Leo prepares to fight when an off-screen voice commands them to stop.
Shopkeeper Finch examines the hundred-year-old purple ginseng in secret. He recognizes its true value immediately and calculates that reselling it at an auction will bring in millions. Instead of making an honest purchase, he schemes to swindle Leo out of the treasure.
Finch turns back to Leo and calls the root a cheap radish dyed with potassium permanganate. He claims Leo is running a scam. Under the excuse of charity, Finch tosses out an offer of five thousand yuan and orders Leo to take it.
Leo refuses to part with his valuable herb for five thousand yuan. He points out that the item is worth millions. Leo puts the purple ginseng back into his bag, turns his back on Finch, and heads toward the shop exit.
Finch blocks Leo from leaving the shop. He shouts false allegations, accusing Leo of peddling toxic counterfeit herbs. Finch summons his security guards, orders them to surround Leo, and declares that the store will seize the purple ginseng as evidence.
The security guards raise their batons and charge at Leo. Leo braces his stance and prepares to fight them off. Before any blows can land, a sudden shout from an unseen woman echoes through the apothecary, ordering everyone to stop immediately.
“这居然真的是百年份的绝世珍宝！这要是收下来转手送拍，起码能赚大几百万。发财了！”
“小子，你拿个大萝卜，用高锰酸钾染成紫色，就敢来我们回春堂招摇撞骗？”

“至于这株假药，就当作为证据，依法没收！”
