Abbi Moore finds an insulting photo vandalized on her locker at Camden Prep. Felix Barnes and his friends laugh at her, but Abbi trades insults with him and pushes past him to go to work. Felix gets a text from Bailey about missing her therapy session and dashes outside. In the courtyard, Abbi bandages Bailey's scraped knee. A groundskeeper cuts a heavy tree branch above them, and Felix runs to shield the pair.
Abbi discovers a hateful picture posted on her locker. Felix Barnes and his crew ridicule her in front of everyone. Abbi stands her ground, confronts Felix directly with sharp words, and shoves past him on her way out to work.
Felix checks his phone in the hallway and sees a text from young Bailey. The message asks why he has not taken her to her therapy session yet. Felix immediately stops what he is doing and sprints toward the exit.
Outside in the courtyard, Abbi notices Bailey take a sudden fall and scrape her knee. Abbi rushes right over to the young girl. She kneels beside Bailey on the pavement to comfort her and carefully clean her bleeding wound.
A groundskeeper trims a thick, heavy tree limb directly over the courtyard. The branch breaks loose and falls toward Abbi and Bailey below. Felix runs outside, spots the danger above them, shouts a warning, and dives to shield them.
“Like my art project, I call it ugly inside, ugly outside.”
“You think you can beat me, but this is my school, Abbi Moore.”
“Kiss my ass, Felix Barnes.”
“Bailey! Watch out!”
A heavy tree branch snaps from high above the courtyard and plummets toward Abbi and Bailey. Felix spots the falling limb, screams a warning, and hurls himself forward to shield them from the impact. Will Felix reach Abbi and Bailey in time to protect them from getting crushed beneath the heavy wood?
