Abbi thrashes in the deep end of the pool while party guests watch. Skye and a blonde boy mock her cries for help from the edge. Skye refuses to lift a finger and walks away. Felix arrives and asks what is happening. He spots Abbi going under, strips off his shirt, and jumps in. Felix pulls Abbi to the surface, wraps his arms around her, and leans in close.
Abbi fights to stay above water in the deep end of the pool. Skye stands at the edge with a blonde boy, laughing at her struggles. The surrounding crowd watches without moving. Skye hurls cruel insults and turns her back.
Felix rushes to the poolside and notices Abbi drowning beneath the surface. He strips off his shirt without hesitation and leaps into the water. Felix swims rapidly underwater to reach her before she sinks to the bottom.
Felix lifts Abbi to the side of the pool and wraps both arms around her shivering body. A breathless Abbi thanks him for the rescue. Felix stares silently into her eyes and tilts his head toward her face.
“Swimming is easy, Abbi. Just use your arms.”
“Where is she? What's happening?”
“Did my bully just save me?”
“Abbi, I...”
Felix holds Abbi against his chest at the edge of the pool. Abbi catches her breath, stunned that her tormentor just saved her life. Felix whispers her name and draws closer, his face inches from hers. Will Felix follow his instincts and kiss Abbi right in front of his classmates, or will he pull away before anyone notices?
