Episode: 7
The heavy vault door opens, and Silas emerges into the mist. Emma welcomes him and brings him outside for a bath. She combs his white coat, dries his face, and uses a blow-dryer on his fur. Silas wags his tail, stunning the staff watching from the yard. When he asks if she fears him, Emma calls him a good boy. Silas responds by curling his thick tail around her waist.
The shelter containment vault door slides open, letting Silas the Silver Wolf step into the mist. Emma meets him right away with a warm greeting and asks him to come along with her for his scheduled bath.
At the outdoor wash tub, Emma runs a comb through Silas's thick white fur. She gently rubs a towel over his face to dry him off. Silas patiently endures the grooming and insists that he is definitely not purring.
Emma switches on the blow-dryer to finish Silas's coat. His tail begins wagging from the warm air. Several shelter workers, including a man in a grey hoodie, stare in disbelief at the legendary SSS-level beast wagging happily.
Silas questions if Emma feels afraid of him, but she reassures him that he is a good boy. Silas brings his fluffy tail around her waist for warmth, prompting a watching cat-eared girl to recognize his courting ritual.
“The most terrifying SSS-level monster... wagging its tail?!”
“Aren't you afraid of me?”
“Scared? Of you? You're such a good boy.”
“I'm a little cold. It's warmer near you.”
The cat-eared observer gasps after seeing Lord Silas wrap his tail around Emma, realizing the wolf king has officially begun courting her. Emma remains unaware of his true status and simply enjoys petting him. How will the shelter staff react now that the most dangerous monster is openly pursuing their newest human intern?
