Nephele sheds fake tears, hugs Vrontis, and glares at Cynthia with a smirk. When Cynthia refuses to give up her necklace, Vrontis tries to wrench it away and slaps her. Cynthia stops him by mentioning the battlefield from five years ago. A flashback depicts her saving his life with that relic. She tells him the truth. The necklace blazes with starlight in Vrontis's grasp, shattering his belief.
Nephele weeps openly in the temple hall while holding onto Vrontis. She claims she should never have wanted an item that was not hers. Behind Vrontis's back, she aims a mocking smirk directly at Cynthia.
Vrontis demands the necklace for Nephele. When Cynthia refuses to surrender the heirloom, he tries to forcefully wrench it from her grasp. Cynthia stands her ground without yielding, and Vrontis strikes her hard across the face.
Stunned by the physical blow, Cynthia speaks up about what occurred on the battlefield five years prior. A flashback depicts the dying storm god lying helpless. Cynthia appears at his side and uses the star necklace to preserve his life.
Cynthia tells Vrontis that she was his real savior. As Vrontis holds the piece of jewelry, it begins glowing brightly with starlight in his palm. The magical light instantly breaks the delusion he held onto for five years.
“Let go! That necklace belongs to Nephele. It has to!”
“You hit me?”
“Vrontis, back then, the one who saved you, it was me.”
“For five whole years, I failed Cynthia.”
Vrontis stands paralyzed in shock as the star necklace radiates pure celestial magic in his hands. He suddenly realizes that he mistreated his actual savior for five full years while catering to Nephele. Will Vrontis beg Cynthia for forgiveness, or will Cynthia walk away from Olympus and leave him with his guilt?
