In the hall, Rhys tells Tina to confess to spare herself and Milo from execution. Dahlia shouts accusations at Tina. After recalling how Rhys abandoned Milo during past ceremonies, Tina confronts Rhys and refuses to let him brand their son a murderer.

  1. 00:00: Rhys Comforts Dahlia in Palace Hall

    In the palace hall, Dahlia weeps against Rhys's chest about Jax's condition and her deceased husband. Rhys holds her close. He promises that he will always protect her and Jax now that his brother is gone.

  2. 00:17: Tina Recalls Years of Neglect

    A flashback moves through the palace corridors and chambers. Tina explains that Rhys took over the care of Dahlia and Jax after his older brother died. During those years, Rhys completely ignored Tina.

  3. 00:29: Rhys Demands Tina Confess

    Back in the palace hall, Rhys tells Tina to admit guilt so she and Milo avoid the death penalty. Tina refuses. Dahlia screams at Tina, accusing her of protecting a brat who shoved Jax into the abyss.

  4. 01:07: Flashback to the Tidal Ceremony

    Tina remembers Rhys leaving their wedding anniversary to be with Dahlia. She also remembers Rhys acting as Jax's father during the sacred Tidal Ceremony while other merfolk mocked Milo and left him crying.

  5. 01:39: Tina Confronts Her Husband

    Returning to the palace hall confrontation, Tina directly challenges Rhys over his long history of neglect. She fiercely states that she will not step back or allow him to label young Milo as a killer.
