In the throne hall, clan elders urge the Sea King to execute Tina for allegedly making Milo attack Jax. Rhys intervenes to protect his wife. He reminds the court that Jax is still alive. Then, Rhys drops to his knees before his father and begs to take Tina's punishment himself. Outside in the corridor, Dahlia overhears his desperate plea. She decides Tina will never escape punishment or win Rhys back, then walks away.
Clan elders demand Tina's death for allegedly directing Milo to harm Jax. Rhys steps forward into the hall to defend her. He notes Jax survived, then drops to his knees. Rhys asks the Sea King to transfer Tina's punishment onto him.
Dahlia stands in the hallway and eavesdrops on Rhys begging for Tina's life. She becomes determined to stop Tina from escaping punishment. Dahlia resolves to keep Rhys for herself and prevent any reunion between the couple before walking away.
“Your majesty, the princess's crimes are unforgivable. She manipulated her own son into attacking a child of our tribe. She deserves to be put to death.”
“Father, Tina is my wife. Milo is my son. Whatever they did, I share the blame. Punish me too. Please don't take her life. I'm begging you.”
“Let Tina off the hook? Not a chance. Rhys belongs to me. I will never let them find a way back to each other.”
Dahlia eavesdrops outside the throne hall as Rhys begs his father to spare his wife. Furious at the thought of them reconciling, she vows that Tina will never escape royal punishment. Dahlia turns and strides away. Will the Sea King accept Rhys's sacrifice, or will Dahlia find a new way to ruin Tina?
