Avoiding planes due to his mother's fatal crash, Marco takes a ship to New York and drives an armored sedan. At Moretti headquarters, Isabella's arrogant assistant Nico crashes a sports car into Marco's vehicle. Nico screams at Marco, who immediately dials Isabella to demand answers about her assistant.

Episode 1 Scene by Scene

  1. 00:00: The Hidden Heir Flashforward

    Marco explains his identity as the secret heir of the oldest mafia family. A flashforward shows Marco on the ground while his arranged fiancée, Isabella Moretti, stands by. Her childhood sweetheart Nico attacks Marco with a heavy steel bar.

  2. 00:24: A Call From Sicily

    On a Sicilian beach, Marco receives a phone call from his father, Antonio De Luca. Antonio instructs Marco to travel to New York to inspect his arranged fiancée, Isabella Moretti. A bodyguard hands Marco a tablet detailing her background.

  3. 00:44: Journey to New York

    Marco sails to New York on a private ship because he avoids air travel after his mother died in a plane crash. At the harbor, Marco collects an unmarked armored sedan his father left behind and drives into the city.

  4. 00:54: Crash in the Lot

    Marco steers into an open space at Moretti headquarters. A speeding red sports car crashes head-on into his bumper. The sports car crushes its own front end completely, but Marco's armored sedan takes no damage at all.

  5. 01:08: Confronting the Assistant

    Nico steps out of the wrecked sports car and curses at Marco. He claims he is Isabella Moretti's executive assistant and rules the East Coast. Marco stays calm, dials Isabella on his phone, and asks about her assistant's actions.

Marco De Luca · Marco calls his fiancée directly to report Nico's aggressive behavior in the parking lot.

How Episode 1 Ends

Marco stands by his undamaged vehicle and calls Isabella right in front of Nico. He questions whether she taught her assistant to act like he owns the entire city. Will Isabella rein in her aggressive employee, or will she take Nico's side against her newly arrived arranged fiancé?
