Episode: 7
Bullies pin Lia down in the hallway while Sophia interrogates her. Sophia uses a silver blade to carve into Lia's glowing crescent mark and slaps her face. Alyssa Reed and an academy elder urge Sophia to stop because silver harms the wolf spirit, but Sophia ignores them. Across the school, Lucas falls on the staircase as his wrist burns. Lucas smells silver, his eyes turn golden, and he runs to stop the attack.
Several bullies restrain Lia in the academy hallway. Sophia demands to know what Lia did to Lucas. When Lia does not give her an answer, Sophia slaps her across the face and drags a silver blade across her glowing crescent mark.
Alyssa Reed and an academy elder step forward to intervene. The elder warns that silver damages the wolf spirit, while Alyssa tells her to stop. Sophia dismisses their pleas completely and continues slicing into the glowing skin on Lia's arm.
Lucas doubles over in agony on the academy staircase as his own Moon Mark burns hot. His eyes glow gold as the scent of burning silver reaches him. Recognizing the danger to their bond, he scrambles up and rushes to find Lia.
Sophia presses the silver blade deeper into Lia's wrist to sever the mate connection by force. Lia screams in pain, but Sophia ignores Alyssa's frantic protests. Suddenly, a violent crashing sound echoes through the hall and interrupts the assault.
“Spit it out, what did you do to Lucas?”
“Silver hurts the wolf spirit, stop it now!”
“Dammit, she's trying to force the bond apart. Silver, I smell silver. Lia, what the hell are you doing?”
“Don't scrape it, my brother will kill us!”
Sophia presses the silver dagger harder into Lia's arm to break the mate connection. Before she can finish, a sudden violent crash shatters the stained-glass window above the hallway, stunning Sophia and the onlookers. Will Lucas arrive in time to stop Sophia before the silver blade completely destroys Lia's arm and breaks their mate bond forever?
