Episode 7 recap: A Fiancé Broken

Lord Kane lies defeated on the floor while Darian's mother panics over Layla's impossible strength. Layla adjusts her lace veil and explains she keeps it only to remember how she lost her sight. Darian crawls to her on his knees. He begs for mercy, blames Serena for seducing him, and offers to call off the wedding. Layla reminds him of his broken vows. She picks up a pair of heavy scissors, ignores his mother's screams, and strikes Darian down to end his cheating ways for good.
