The elderly cleaner hands the paper tissue to the weeping applicant in the beige suit. She speaks gentle words of comfort. Then she mentions that she has cleaned this building for ten years and sees hundreds of people daily. Nobody ever said thank you to her until today. The young woman looks confused because she only thanked the receptionist down the hall. The elevator arrives at the ground floor and the doors slide open. Both women stay inside. The young woman quietly explains that saying thank you is just an everyday habit.
