Episode: 4
Victoria Vance knocks Arya down and steps on her hand. Arya begs for a chance with the dog, but Julian Vance orders the guards to pay her and throw her out. The guards gag Arya's mouth. Suddenly, Old Lady Vance grabs her chest and collapses onto the couch. A doctor arrives, diagnoses a severe seizure, and readies a sedative needle. Arya pulls down her gag and screams that the diagnosis is wrong.
Victoria Vance shoves Arya to the floor in the living room. She grinds her high heel into Arya's hand and berates her. Victoria claims Arya wore ragged clothes intentionally to get her brother's romantic attention.
Bodyguards seize Arya while she pleads for an opportunity to calm the dog. Julian Vance finds the noise irritating. He directs his staff to hand Arya some cash, gag her mouth, and drag her straight out of the manor.
Old Lady Vance suddenly grasps at her chest in agony. She slumps onto the living room sofa without warning. Panic spreads through the family members, and someone immediately summons the Vance family doctor to attend to her.
The family doctor rushes to the sofa to examine Old Lady Vance. She declares the matriarch is experiencing a violent seizure. Without hesitation, the physician unpacks a syringe and prepares an emergency sedative injection.
Arya yanks down the cloth gagging her mouth. She shouts loudly across the room that the matriarch is not suffering from a seizure. Her sudden yell cuts through the chaos, making Julian Vance turn directly toward her.
“What, playing Cinderella to seduce my brother? Cheap little nobody! Drag her out!”
“She's noisy. Give her some money and get her out!”
“It's a severe seizure! I have to administer a sedative, now!”
“No, it's not a seizure!”
Arya yanks off her gag and yells that the matriarch is not having a seizure, stopping everyone in their tracks. Julian Vance turns his eyes toward her as the doctor holds the prepared syringe. Will Julian listen to Arya's frantic warning, or will the doctor inject the sedative into Old Lady Vance before anyone can verify the diagnosis?
