Aiden helps Ryan take slow walking steps across the football field sideline. Cole watches them angrily from his own practice drill. Inside the hallway, Ryan asks Aiden to assist him to the bathroom. While the bench sits empty, Cole sneaks over to Aiden's medical bag. Cole pours an unknown liquid into Ryan's tube of pain gel. When Aiden and Ryan return, Aiden smells the opened ointment and freezes.
Aiden coaches Ryan through slow steps on the grass. Cole glares at them from nearby in pure jealousy. When a teammate wearing jersey twenty-one passes a football to Cole, Cole tosses it right back and resumes training.
Ryan rests beside Aiden on a bench next to Aiden's red kit. Ryan jokingly claims he needs walking help so he does not fall into a toilet. Aiden pulls Ryan upright and holds him close as they walk away.
Cole sneaks into the corridor and digs through Aiden's unattended medical bag. He pulls out a tube of pain-relief gel and squirts an unknown liquid into it. Cole claims the championship will be his, then runs off.
Aiden walks Ryan back to the bench and opens his supply bag. He uncaps the gel to rub on Ryan's leg, but he pauses after catching a strange odor. Ryan notices Aiden's troubled expression and asks him what happened.
“Put your foot down slowly. One step at a time, don't rush.”
“Ryan is walking... and those two are still together? Gotta be kidding me. He's a fraud, and Ryan still lets him touch his leg?”
“Aiden, you should help me. What if I lose my balance and fall into the toilet?”
“Ryan, the captaincy is mine. And the national championship will be mine, too.”
“Aiden, what's wrong?”
Aiden holds the uncapped tube of gel near his nose and detects a strange scent. He stops before rubbing any onto Ryan's injured knee. Ryan catches the sudden look of concern on Aiden's face and asks what is wrong. Will Aiden figure out that the ointment was poisoned before applying it to Ryan's leg?
