Episode 1 recap: A Royal Bloodline

Raphina mourns the death of young master Victor at a forest altar. Her butler brings a sketch from Victor's body revealing his secret marriage to a pregnant human. Meanwhile, in an impoverished courtyard, Violet weeps over Victor's wolf tooth pendant. Her abusive brother and his wife barge outside, demanding she abort her pregnancy and sell herself to a brothel. Violet refuses, fighting to protect Victor's child. Her brother violently strikes her down. Just as the abuse escalates, a mysterious figure in purple heels arrives, stomping the ground and releasing a massive energy blast.
