Episode: 2
Inside his cell, Silas Vance tells Ethan that the orphanage fire fifteen years ago was intentional arson. A prison official delivers Ethan's discharge paper signed by Washington. Ethan signs it and takes a military helicopter across the stormy ocean, looking at a picture of his sisters. In the city, Mark pushes Father Thomas down and orders a bulldozer to crush him. Ethan arrives just in time, stopping the descending bucket with one hand.
Silas Vance explains to Ethan that someone deliberately set the fire at St. Mary's Home to eliminate evidence. A prison official hands over an absolute discharge signed by Washington. Ethan signs the document and demands the gates be opened.
The submerged prison facility surfaces on the ocean water. Ethan boards a military helicopter flying through stormy skies. While sitting in the aircraft cabin, Ethan examines a photograph of his seven sisters and pledges to keep his family safe from harm.
Mark and his gang arrive outside St. Mary's Orphanage under orders from Young Master Ryan. Father Thomas tries to protect the property, but Mark strikes the priest to the ground. Mark commands the heavy bulldozer driver to crush Father Thomas.
The bulldozer shovel plunges toward Father Thomas on the ground. Ethan suddenly steps in front of the priest. Ethan grabs the falling steel bucket using one hand, stopping it instantly, while stomping down on Mark and pinning him to the earth.
“The fire at St. Mary's Home wasn't an accident. Someone set it to erase evidence.”
“Open the gate. I'm going back to solve this myself.”
“Mr. Black, Washington has signed your absolute discharge.”
“Shut up, old man. Young Master Ryan wants this land cleared today.”
Ethan stands over the fallen priest, holding the massive bulldozer bucket aloft with one hand while holding Mark pinned under his foot. Father Thomas stares up from the dirt in disbelief. Will Mark and his demolition crew surrender now, or will Ryan Kane send more men to finish tearing down the orphanage?
