Two weeks later, Evelyn looks at a positive pregnancy test inside an airport restroom. She receives a supportive text from Julian and another message from Adrian before boarding her flight to London. At a local clinic, a doctor places her ultrasound scan on the lightbox. Evelyn learns she is carrying twins. The doctor explains that she is medically fertile, and that long-term medication and stress caused her past issues. Weeping with relief, Evelyn holds the scan to her chest, calling her unborn babies her reason to keep living.
