Episode: 2
An inspection begins on the training field as recruits dump out their gear. A blonde recruit verbally provokes Jack, who pushes him away. The captain singles Jack out and commands him to strip in front of the unit. Jack calls it harassment, prompting the officer to reach for his belt. Kane intervenes by pinning the captain's wrist. Then Kane orders Jack to take off his clothes.
The captain commands the new soldiers to search through their backpacks for forbidden items. A blonde recruit bothers Jack with unwanted remarks while Jack bends down. Jack shoves the man backward in anger and tells him to stay away.
The captain steps between them and focuses on Jack. He orders Jack to step forward and take off all his clothes before everyone. When Jack protests the mistreatment, the captain smirks, warns the platoon, and grabs Jack's belt.
Kane arrives unexpectedly and grabs the captain by the wrist, overpowering him on the spot. He tells the captain that nobody else is permitted to lay hands on his recruits, putting a stop to the captain's physical threat.
Kane directs Jack to step toward him for a personal inspection. Jack assumes he avoided being forced to undress publicly and steps forward. Kane blocks Jack's path and commands him to take off his clothes right where he stands.
“What's your problem? I'm straight, keep your distance.”
“Strip right here, I'm going to search you.”
“Captain, my soldiers, only I get to lay a hand on them. Who the hell do you think you are?”
“Where do you think you're going? Strip right here.”
Jack thinks Kane just rescued him from being humiliated in front of the entire company. Instead, Kane halts him in his tracks and repeats the demand to undress on the open ground. Will Jack obey Kane's harsh order in front of his peers, or will he stand his ground and refuse to strip?
