Jack struggles to sleep in his quarters, distracted by memories of a rainy encounter with Kane. He leaves his bed and runs laps around the base to clear his mind. He stops at the bathroom to cool down, but Kane follows him. Kane corners Jack inside the shower area, claims to have heard his inner thoughts, and insists that Jack help him finish what began between them, resulting in an intimate physical encounter.
