Episode: 3
Cassian sits in the dungeon for seven days eating rotten meat while his family feasts upstairs. Lucian and Serafina visit outside his cell to taunt him. Cassian whispers a curse about dislocated shoulders under his glowing neck ribbon. The next morning, Lucian wakes up screaming with an immobile arm. On the eighth day, Lucian leads Cassian toward Moonlight Hall, whispers an insult, and hurls himself down the stone stairs.
Cassian spends seven full days trapped in the dark dungeon. Guards give him only rotten meat to eat. Upstairs in the banquet hall, Kael, Mira, Celeste, and Lucian celebrate together with fine wine and large platters of roasted meat.
Lucian brings Serafina down to the corridor outside the dungeon. He pretends he wants to give his healing potion to Cassian. Serafina calls Cassian worthless trash, kicks the iron bars, and pulls Lucian away to comfort him.
Cassian sits alone in his cell as the black ribbon around his neck begins to glow. Red runes shine beneath the fabric. He quietly whispers a curse that anyone who steals from others will suffer a dislocated shoulder.
A loud shriek echoes through the castle hallways early the next morning. Lucian screams in agony because his arm will not move. Celeste and a priest rush to treat him. Down in the cell, Cassian smiles coldly.
On day eight, Lucian wears an arm brace and unlocks the cell. He orders Cassian toward Moonlight Hall to apologize. At the stone staircase, Lucian whispers that Cassian has no wolf, screams loudly, and hurls his body down the steps.
Serafina, Kael, and Mira run to the bottom of the staircase. Serafina cradles a sweating Lucian in her arms. Lucian acts frail and begs them not to blame Cassian, telling the furious parents it was just an accident.
“Nonsense! That trash brought back from the Rogue camp isn't even fit to tie your shoes!”
“If you take what belongs to someone else, be careful not to dislocate your shoulder.”
“Ah! Cassian! I won't fight you for the territory!”
“Sara, don't blame Cassian, it was my own fault for not standing firm, it was an accident.”
Lucian lies at the foot of the stairs covered in cold sweat while Serafina cradles him. Alpha Kael and Luna Mira glare up at Cassian with absolute rage after hearing Lucian's fake apology. Will Kael and Mira punish Cassian for the staged fall, or will Cassian speak again to defend himself?
