Episode: 4
Celeste blames Cassian for Lucian's tumble down the stone stairs. Mira slaps Cassian twice across the face, knocking him to the floor with a bleeding mouth. Kyle shouts at him and summons guards. Cassian tells Lucian not to break his bones and pass out. Lucian instantly goes rigid in Seraphina's arms and faints. Mira tells guards to carry Lucian to the Holy Spring, while other guards throw Cassian into the dungeon.
Celeste stands on the stone stairs and confronts Cassian with fury. She argues that Lucian lived in the house for over twenty years without falling. Because of that past, she claims Lucian tumbling down the steps could not be an accident.
Mira steps forward and delivers two hard slaps directly across Cassian's face. The force knocks the starved young man down onto the cold stone floor. Cassian lies there as blood begins to drip from his mouth.
Kyle bellows in rage, calling Cassian completely heartless. Celeste angrily kicks over a nearby sword rack. Meanwhile, Cassian stays on the floor and mutters aloud that he would never even need to lift a single finger to injure Lucian.
Kyle commands his pack guards to seize Cassian and take him to the cells. As the guards grab Cassian, he taunts Lucian directly. Cassian warns him to be careful not to actually break his bones and pass out from pain.
Right after Cassian speaks his warning, Lucian's body turns completely rigid. He blacks out inside Seraphina's arms. A terrified Mira screams at the guards to pick up Lucian and hurry him directly toward the healing waters of the Holy Spring.
The pack family sprints away to save Lucian. Meanwhile, the guards violently toss Cassian onto the hard dungeon floor and slam the heavy doors shut. Cassian lies alone on the ground while mysterious embers begin to glow around him.
“You've lived in this house for over twenty years and never fallen down the stone steps. How could it possibly be an accident?!”
“How could Frostmoon Pack have such a heartless one like you!”
“Such a good show. You'd better be careful not to actually break your bones and pass out from the pain.”
“Guards, hurry! Take him to the Holy Spring!”
Guards fling Cassian hard onto the dungeon floor and lock the doors, leaving him alone as faint embers begin glowing beside him. Meanwhile, the frantic family rushes an unconscious Lucian to the Holy Spring. Will Lucian survive the sudden affliction, and what power do those glowing dungeon embers signify for Cassian?
