Episode: 10

Episode 10 recap: On Bended Knee

A young man in a leather jacket shoves Xiaojun and mocks him in front of the banquet guests. Xiaojun's parents rush forward to pull their son away from the hostile crowd. Xiaojun shouts that true help does not seek payback, but he wanted to know if Xinyi remembered their sacrifice. Just as the family turns to leave, Xinyi sets down her wine glass and walks across the clearing. She drops to both knees before Xiaojun's father. Tears fill her eyes as she apologizes to the stunned crowd.
