I just sat down and went straight through the story of Ella Grey and her strange new partner, Ryan. Ella runs Grey Industries and needs a capable partner to protect her pack from rival clans. She hosts a public Mate Challenge to find anyone strong enough to stand by her side. After taking down hundreds of fighters, she expects nothing new. Then a scruffy man in ragged clothes steps up because his young daughter wants Ella to be her new mother.
That beggar is actually Ryan Black, the Moonshadow Sovereign. He keeps his true power hidden beneath worn clothes, but he clears the arena with a single shockwave. Ella agrees to register a contract marriage, yet her powerful family refuses to accept him. Her parents immediately test his reflexes with electrified wine and flying silver blades. Ryan deflects every attack without breaking a sweat, all while casually eating dinner and looking after his kid.
Things escalate quickly when Derek Shadowfang shows up to force Ella into a mate bond and take over Blackridge. The stakes shift from family dinners to brutal pack combat at the Blood Moon Trial. If you are looking to watch My Beggar Husband Is the Alpha online, you can catch the drama directly on Stillpointe. This guide recaps each step of the journey so you can follow the clashes and secret identities.

My Beggar Husband Is the Alpha Episode Guide
EP 1: The Mate Challenge
Ella Grey defeats her 278th challenger in the arena. Little Luna Black points out Ella on a billboard and asks her dad to make Ella her new mother. Ryan steps onto the stage despite Jenny Reed mocking his beggar clothes. Ella tells him he must clear the other fighters first. Surrounding wolves charge Ryan all at once. He unleashes a white wolf phantom shockwave that knocks out every opponent in seconds. Ryan then calls Ella down to fight him next.
EP 2: Meeting the In-Laws
Ella and Ryan register their marriage at the office. She warns him that he cannot share her bed until he defeats her in combat. Ella brings Ryan and Luna home to meet her parents, Vera and Richard Grey. Vera scoffs at her daughter marrying a beggar. Richard infuses wolf lightning energy into a glass of Moonwine to test his daughter's new spouse. Ryan takes hold of the electrified glass without fear, sparking an instant clash of power.
EP 3: Dinner Table Duel
Ryan absorbs Richard's Lunar Force, boils the wine with his own energy, and drinks it down. At dinner, Ella tells Ryan to keep a low profile while Luna enjoys a chicken leg. Vera decides to test Ryan herself. She hurls silver blades across the table with extreme speed. Ryan grabs Ella's table knife and parries every strike effortlessly. A flying cut of steak lands squarely on his plate, and he calmly thanks his mother-in-law for feeding him.
EP 4: Derek Shadowfang Invades
Ella uses her magic under the table to calm things down. Derek Shadowfang arrives at the estate courtyard with armed guards. He demands Ella accept his mate bond before the Blood Moon Trial and blasts Ella's parents onto the steps. Ella runs to help her parents while Ryan steps outside with a snack. Derek hurls insults and charges at the beggar. Ryan catches Derek by the throat with one hand, hoisting him into the air like a loud chihuahua.
EP 5: The Moon Bond
Ella blasts Derek away with silver energy, warning that Ryan belongs to her. Derek leaves after demanding she submit at tomorrow's Blood Moon Trial. Grey elders tell Ella not to fight, but she refuses to surrender family land. Later that evening, Ella visits Ryan in her robe. Wanting to make her own choice before facing potential death, she kisses him on the bed. Glowing silver runes flare across Ryan's arms as a magical halo surrounds the pair.
EP 6: Stepping into the Arena
Ryan wakes up to find a farewell note and a bank card left by Ella. She urges him and Luna to leave Blackridge for safety. Ryan's wrist glows with energy, and he heads out with Luna to bring his wife home. At the Blood Moon Trial, Derek brutalizes Richard and Vera Grey. Derek mocks the entire crowd, bragging that no werewolf dares face him. Ella steps forward into the arena ring to fight Derek alone.
EP 7: A Toothpick Saves the Day
Ella admits to her parents that completing the Moon Bond with Ryan temporarily dropped her power by more than half. She steps into the ring and reveals her moon mark to Derek. Enraged, Derek attacks and beats Ella down until she coughs blood. Just as Derek raises his claws to cripple her bloodline, a wooden toothpick flies through the air and deflects his blow. Ryan walks into the arena holding Luna's hand while she eats an ice pop.
