Episode: 1
Ella Grey prepares for her Mate Challenge and dispatches her 278th opponent on the stage. In the crowd, young Luna Black spots Ella on a sign and asks her father Ryan to win Ella as her mother. Ryan enters the ring despite Jenny Reed mocking his ragged appearance. Ella tells him to face the remaining fighters. When dozens of werewolves attack him at once, Ryan summons a massive wolf phantom and knocks them all down.
Ella floats above her pool with glowing eyes and pulsing energy. Jenny brings her formal clothes and says the challenge is about to begin. Ella looks at a wolf tooth pendant and questions where a certain person has gone.
Ryan and Luna stand together in the arena audience. Luna points directly at a billboard displaying Ella. She tells Ryan that she wants Ella to be her mother. Ryan listens to the girl and takes an interest in the contest.
Ella knocks two fighters down with an energy blast, defeating her 278th opponent. She complains that none of the men can offer a real fight. From the audience, Luna shouts out and offers her father to take the stage.
Ryan walks up to the stage beside Luna. Ella notices something familiar about him. Jenny scolds Ryan for his ragged clothing, but Ryan states his plan to marry Ella. Ella tells him to defeat the other fighters present first.
Ella teleports to a chair and sips wine while Luna roots for Ryan. A werewolf challenger in black leather confronts Ryan and throws a punch. Ryan catches the oncoming fist with an open hand without shifting his stance.
Dozens of werewolf challengers encircle Ryan and rush him together. Ryan unleashes white glowing energy from his body, creating a giant wolf phantom. The shockwave sends every attacker flying backwards across the arena floor in a matter of seconds.
Ryan addresses Ella directly and tells her that she is next in line. Ella observes the aftermath of his blast. She places her wine glass aside and stands up from her seat to face Ryan in combat herself.
“Pretty lady, if daddy wins, can you be my mommy?”
“Show me the pack law that says a beggar can't compete. Sorry, but I'm marrying your Ella today.”
“If you want to be my mate, beat these challengers first.”
“Honey, you're up.”
Ryan wipes out all the contenders with his wolf phantom and calls Ella out to the stage. Ella leaves her seat, puts her drink aside, and prepares to test his strength in person. Can Ella overcome Ryan's mysterious power, or will this disguised beggar win the right to claim her hand?
