Episode: 7
Richard Grey warns Ella Grey not to fight Derek Shadowfang. Ella stumbles and admits to Richard and Vera Grey that her Moon Bond with Ryan Black cut her power in half. Ella enters the arena and displays her bonded moon mark to an enraged Derek. He overpowers Ella and leaves her coughing blood. As Derek raises his claws to cripple her, a flying toothpick blocks him. Ryan Black and Luna Black walk inside.
Richard Grey urges Ella Grey not to step into the ring against Derek Shadowfang. Ella stumbles with sudden physical weakness. She admits to Richard and Vera Grey that her Moon Bond with Ryan Black dropped her bloodline strength by over half.
Ella Grey walks out onto the arena floor. Derek Shadowfang demands she accept his mate bond instead of fighting. Ella rolls back her sleeve to expose the moon mark on her arm, declaring she is already bonded to Ryan Black.
Derek Shadowfang attacks Ella Grey with full force. Ella fights back with diminished strength and collapses onto the floor, spitting up blood. Derek towers over her, threatening to destroy her bloodline permanently before hunting down and executing Ryan Black and Luna Black.
Derek Shadowfang swings his claw downward to deliver the final crippling blow. A wooden toothpick flies through the air and deflects his strike. Ryan Black enters the arena holding hands with Luna Black, who calmly eats an ice pop.
“Ryan and I completed our first Moon Bond last night.”
“You'd rather bond with that beggar than choose me?!”
“I'll cripple your bloodline first, then kill that filthy beggar!”
“Who's picking on my mommy?!”
Derek Shadowfang stands frozen after an ordinary wooden toothpick blocks his deadly strike. Ryan Black walks into the arena holding Luna Black's hand, while Luna casually licks an ice pop. Ella stares up in disbelief from the arena floor. Why did Ryan bring his daughter back to Blackridge instead of fleeing?
