The War God's Arranged Bride Episode Guide

1. EP 1: Handcuffs and Fireballs

Guards escort Evelyn to the altar in handcuffs. Her stepsister Samantha strangles young Lily with glowing magical vines. Evelyn submits to the arranged marriage to save her sister. Samantha mocks Evelyn as Alexander Kingston's nanny. Across the kingdom, attendant Oliver tells a masked Alexander that his human bride awaits at the altar. Alexander stands up from his wheelchair, sheds his mask, and leaps into the sky as a giant black Lycan. When Samantha hurls a fireball at Evelyn, the massive black beast drops down and catches the flames bare-handed.

2. EP 2: Who Gave You Permission

The giant Lycan shatters Evelyn's handcuffs with his claws and vanishes into golden specks of light. Evelyn remains completely unharmed. Her stepsister fakes an injury and claims Evelyn assaulted her. Leonard flies into a rage and raises his green-crystal cane to beat Evelyn. Before the blow lands, Alexander arrives in his wheelchair. He stops Leonard cold and asks who gave him permission to touch his Luna. The stunned guests whisper about his striking face and imposing presence. Leonard cowers before the Alpha and offers an immediate apology.

3. EP 3: A Vow and a Bath

At the altar, Alexander offers Evelyn money to leave if she does not want this marriage. An elder pack leader warns Evelyn that Lily will die if the wedding fails. Evelyn wipes away her tears and kisses Alexander to seal their vows. Alexander whispers that he hopes she brings that same energy to their wedding night. A maid later escorts Evelyn in a silk robe to the bridal chamber. Evelyn steps inside to find Alexander sitting in a candlelit bath. His chest bears scars, and his eyes glow gold as he orders her into the water.

4. EP 4: Questions in the Tub

Alexander demands to know who sent Evelyn to marry a man who cannot walk. Evelyn fears for Lily's safety, so she claims she has always admired the War God. Alexander sees through her trembling act. Evelyn claims she is merely thrilled to be his bride. Alexander pulls her close and demands that she bear him an heir tonight. He pulls off her white robe and kisses her neck. Evelyn panics in silence because she is still a virgin. Alexander reaches around her back and unfastens her inner garments.

5. EP 5: An Uninvited Guest

Evelyn interrupts Alexander's kiss to ask if his paralyzed legs affect other bodily functions. Alexander asks if she refuses to sleep with a cripple. A subordinate calls to him from outside the curtain, allowing Evelyn to scramble out of the tub. Once she leaves, Alexander stands up on two healthy legs and dries himself off. He laughs off his servant's suspicion that Evelyn is an enemy agent. Back in her bedroom, Evelyn rehearses an apology in the mirror. A noble named Liam sneaks in behind her and grabs her hand against his chest.

6. EP 6: Off the Balcony

Liam corners Evelyn in her bedroom and demands physical affection. Evelyn fights him off and slaps him for cheating on her with Samantha. Liam's eyes turn blue as beast features surface on his face. He chases Evelyn onto the balcony and mocks Alexander's useless legs. He tries to force himself on her. A towering black Lycan glowing with ember sparks emerges from the shadows behind Liam. The beast plunges a fiery claw straight into Liam's chest. Alexander's beast form lifts the attacker and throws him over the stone balcony railing.

7. EP 7: Carrying Him to Bed

Evelyn recognizes the black beast from her wedding. The Lycan dissolves into smoke, and Alexander appears in his wheelchair with a bare chest. He wheels inside the bedroom. Evelyn admits she briefly wondered if he was the monster, but she laughs it off. She tells Alexander he is the only shifter she does not fear and confesses she is glad to have married him. She wraps her arms around his chest to lift him into bed. Alexander smirks, flips her beneath him on the mattress, and leans in close to her lips.

8. EP 8: The Sapphire Ring

Evelyn spends the night beside Alexander to help him if he falls from bed. The next morning, Alexander gives her a sapphire ring that belonged to his late mother. He explains that his mother wanted his Luna to wear it. Evelyn visits the pack plaza to take Lily home. Samantha blocks her path and grabs Evelyn by the throat over Liam's injuries. Liam stands nearby with a wrapped arm and insults Evelyn. Samantha shatters the stone plaza floor with her magic. She creates a glowing trench of fire and orders Evelyn to walk across.

9. EP 9: Walking Through Fire

Evelyn refuses to step into the flames, so her stepsister uses magic to snatch Alexander's sapphire ring. Back at the castle, Alexander feels the heirloom activate and realizes Evelyn is in danger. Evelyn takes off her shoes to reclaim the ring. She crawls across the scorching magma trench while watching nobles laugh at her burns. She reaches her stepsister with blistered hands, but the stepsister summons fire and refuses to return the ring.
