Alexander and Evelyn kiss in the bath, but she halts him to ask about his physical function. Oliver interrupts from outside, letting Evelyn escape the water. Once alone, Alexander stands up on healthy legs and dismisses Oliver's claim that Evelyn is an enemy agent. In her bedroom, Evelyn practices explaining her virginity in the mirror. Liam slips inside, grabs her hand against his chest, and offers himself to her.
Alexander kisses Evelyn in the pool until she stops him with an awkward medical question. Alexander asks if she refuses him because he is crippled. Oliver speaks from behind the curtain, and Evelyn rushes out of the water.
Alexander stands upright and steps out of the pool without any struggle. He grabs a towel to dry himself. Oliver asks if Evelyn is an enemy agent, but Alexander mocks the idea that she could seduce anyone.
Evelyn puts on her robe and stands in front of her bedroom mirror. She practices what to tell Alexander. She admits to herself that she panicked because she has never been with a man before.
Liam appears silently behind Evelyn in her bedchamber. He grabs her hand, kisses it, and presses it hard against his bare chest. He tells her he is ready if she needs a real man, leaving Evelyn terrified.
“Wait. Sorry, but your legs don't work, so does everything else even...”
“It works just fine. If you don't want to have sex with a cripple, just say it.”
“A seductress? If she was, she's the worst one I've ever seen.”
“If you need a real man, I'm right here, babe.”
Liam corners Evelyn inside her own room, pinning her hand against his chest while offering to give her what Alexander cannot. Evelyn stands frozen in horror as the intruder looms over her. Will someone hear her before Liam attacks, or will she have to fight him off alone?
