Episode: 7
Evelyn watches the giant black Lycan dissolve into black smoke, leaving a shirtless Alexander in his wheelchair. She rushes over and asks if he was the beast. Alexander fears his secret identity is exposed, but Evelyn quickly dismisses the idea. She wheels him toward the bed and admits she feels safe with him. When she tries to lift him onto the mattress, Alexander turns the tables and pins her down.
Evelyn realizes the dark wolf in front of her is the creature from the altar. The beast vanishes into dark smoke. In its place, Alexander sits shirtless in his wheelchair, right on the terrace.
Alexander rolls into the bedroom. Evelyn runs over, describing the giant beast and asking if he was the creature. Alexander worries his secret identity is exposed. Evelyn then dismisses her suspicion, concluding a paralyzed man could never be that monster.
Evelyn pushes Alexander to the bed. She shares that he is the one shifter she does not fear and feels grateful for their marriage. She wraps both arms around his torso to hoist him onto the mattress.
Alexander smiles faintly as Evelyn tries to move him. He suddenly shifts his weight, trapping Evelyn beneath him against the pillows. He leans over her face, bringing his lips close to hers.
“That Lycan just now, it was you?”
“She figured it out?”
“You're the only shifter I don't have to be afraid of in this world. I'm glad it was you I ended up marrying.”
“What are you doing?”
“Carrying you to bed.”
Alexander smiles, overpowers Evelyn, and pins her flat on the bed. He leans down, bringing his face inches from her mouth. Will Alexander kiss his new bride and give away his physical strength, or will he back away to keep his identity safe?
