Avery crawls on her hands and knees across the academy training field while pulling chains. She speaks a false confession into a megaphone, leaving bloody marks across the sharp gravel. Vivian watches the spectacle and smiles from a wheelchair.

Vivian gets out of her wheelchair and ambushes Avery with three cronies. They demand a recorded apology, dump freezing water on Avery, and spread red paint over her skin. Vivian then kicks Avery straight down to the alley floor.

Avery cries while picking up her ruined A+ test paper from a muddy puddle. She glances up and discovers Roman, Grant, Elias, and several other fathers standing in the alley with extended claws, glowing golden eyes, and spectral wolves.
