Chloe hangs up on Lucifer and looks at Finn in his hospital room. Desperate to save her brother, she visits Dr. Safer's run-down lab and volunteers to test his new drug for one Bloodvine. In his study, Lucifer crushes his phone in rage before Cole Hawke reports on Dr. Safer and rebel wolves. Chloe drinks the purple serum, and her body painfully transforms into a wolf as Dr. Safer smiles.
Chloe angrily ends her phone call in the hospital corridor. She stares through the glass window at her comatose brother, Finn, lying in his bed. Refusing to accept defeat, she makes a firm decision to save him through her own methods.
Chloe enters Dr. Safer's dilapidated laboratory and volunteers to become a test subject for his experimental drug. In return, she asks for one Bloodvine. Dr. Safer warns her that the untested treatment can cause excruciating agony, physical mutation, or fatal results.
Furious over Chloe's rejection, Lucifer Valentine destroys his phone with his bare hands in his study. Cole Hawke enters to report Dr. Safer's location and his strength serum. After learning rebel wolves are targeting the doctor, Lucifer vows to exterminate them tonight.
Dr. Safer hands Chloe a vial of purple WR-97A serum, promising to send the Bloodvine to Finn. Chloe swallows the liquid and suffers severe agony. Veins bulge across her skin as claws, wolf ears, and fangs grow before her eyes turn purple.
“Finn, I will save you. In my own way!”
“I heard you need test subjects for your new drug. I'll do it. Just give me one Bloodvine.”
“My Rose, you rejected me again. I've lost my patience. No more Mr. Nice Guy!”
“Drink it. Whether you live or die, I'll deliver the Bloodvine to your brother.”
Chloe writhes in excruciating pain on the floor as the purple serum changes her body. Claws, fangs, and wolf ears emerge, and her eyes glow purple. Dr. Safer watches her with glowing blue eyes and a wide grin. Will Chloe survive this terrifying mutation, and what will Lucifer do when his pack reaches Dr. Safer's laboratory?
