Rebels hide in a rainy alley at night to ambush the Alpha's pack. Lucifer Valentine orders his wolves to push forward. The pack fights in wolf form and overwhelms the attackers. Lucifer shifts back to human form outside the building. His suited subordinate reports that the rebels are dead and Dr. Safer is upstairs. Lucifer suddenly senses a presence, looks up at the building, and wonders why Chloe is there.
Rebels lie in wait on a dark, wet city street to ambush the wolves. Lucifer Valentine drives his pack forward into the fight. The pack transforms into wolves, quickly overpowering the panicked rebels and scattering them across the alley.
Lucifer Valentine shifts back into his human form on the street. He walks over to his followers outside the target building. A subordinate in a suit steps forward and confirms that the rebels are dead and Dr. Safer is inside upstairs.
Lucifer pauses outside the building as his senses pick up something unexpected. He turns his gaze upward toward the windows. Stunned by what he detects, he speaks Chloe's name out loud and questions what she is doing at the location.
“Push through! We have to find Safer!”
“Shit, it's the Alpha! Lucifer Valentine is here! Run!”
“Sir, all West District rebels have been eliminated. Dr. Safer is upstairs.”
“Chloe, Why is she here?”
Lucifer Valentine stands on the pavement outside the building, staring up at the upper floors with deep concern. He knows Dr. Safer is inside, but now he senses Chloe there as well. Will Lucifer reach Chloe in time before whatever Dr. Safer is doing upstairs causes her irreversible harm?
