Episode: 5
Kaestra knocks Alistair to the ground with her whip. Gail runs over to check on the lion and dares Kaestra to face her at the Crown Trial in a month. Kaestra accepts the challenge and heads to a secluded magic pool with Soren. While she rests in the water, Soren unleashes a pillar of golden light. He transforms into a dragon-winged man, wraps his arms around Kaestra, and kisses her.
Kaestra strikes Alistair with her whip and knocks him to the stones. Gail hurries to the wounded beast and reprimands Kaestra. Gail issues a challenge for the Crown Trial in one month. Kaestra agrees without hesitation and leaves with baby Soren.
Kaestra carries Soren to an enchanted mountain pool she discovered in her past life. Soren splashes happily across the surface. Watching him swim, Kaestra recalls the sacrifice he made for her before, and she promises to keep him safe this time.
Kaestra wades into the warm water to rest. She shuts her eyes, but Soren begins to radiate a brilliant golden glow. A massive pillar of light shoots straight into the sky, and the little creature shifts into a handsome man with dragon wings.
Soren glides through the pool and caresses Kaestra's waist and neck from behind. A startled Kaestra turns and asks who he is. Soren announces that he is both her familiar and her mate. He pulls her close and gives her a deep kiss.
“Kaestra just wait. At the Crown Trial a month from now, I'll defeat you and become the number-one Beast-Tamer.”
“I'll be waiting.”
“Who are you?”
“I'm your familiar and your mate.”
Soren holds Kaestra in the enchanted pool, naming himself as her familiar and her mate before claiming her with a passionate kiss. The sudden appearance of his winged human form changes everything between them. How will Kaestra handle this revelation, and what power will this transformed dragon bring to her upcoming Crown Trial against Gail?
